This morning, we were visited by our local DA ward Councillor, Dave Bryant, Councillor Stuart Diamond, and Brandon Golding, the prospective DA councillor for the area.
It was great to give them a tour of the house and update them on our work, which we are planning to extend beyond offering short-term emergency accommodation to new training and counselling programmes for the residents and staff.
We appreciate the councillors' visit as it is important for us to maintain a solid working relationship with the City of Cape Town and draw on the support of our local elected representatives.
As he left, Mr Bryant promised to help us get all our trees pruned!
