From March 2012 to April 2013, the Pride Shelter Trust provided:

  • safe shelter to at least 236 residents aged 19 to 65 years old experiencing a crisis.
  • 127 residents stayed for one-month
  • 4,185 meals
  • 52 Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous meetings

The Pride Shelter Trust assisted 9 residents with finding new jobs while staying at the shelter. 

The shelter's average daily cost of R54.25 provided one resident with housing, food and other services. The shelter can accommodate up to 22 residents every day.
2011-2012

From April 2011 to January 2012, the Pride Shelter Trust provided:

  • safe shelter to at least 74 residents aged 19 to 65 years old experiencing a crisis.
  • 3,000 meals
  • mental and medical health services referrals 

The shelter's average daily cost of R54.25 provided one resident with housing, food and other services. The shelter can accommodate up to 22 residents every day.

The resident demographics are:
